Pamela A. McAfee Ed.D, MPA, OT/L, CDE®
Dr. Pamela A. McAfee, Ed.D, MPA, OT/L, CDE® is an executive leadership strategist, educator, researcher, author, and healthcare leader with more than 30 years of experience guiding organizations, teams, and leaders through growth, change, and transformation. As CEO and Co-Founder of StellaVersed Consulting Firm, LLC, a minority women-owned consulting practice, she partners with healthcare organizations, educational institutions, small businesses, and community organizations to strengthen leadership capacity, cultivate engaged workforces, and create sustainable strategies that improve organizational performance and human connection.
A lifelong learner and passionate advocate for leadership development, Dr. McAfee believes that resilience, agility, and perseverance are cultivated through continuous learning, meaningful relationships, and purposeful reflection. Throughout her career, she has become known as a leader builder, team builder, mentor, and educator who helps emerging and experienced leaders discover their strengths, navigate complex challenges, and lead with confidence and authenticity. Her work spans healthcare operations, leadership education, organizational development, workforce engagement, diversity, equity, inclusion, accessibility, and belonging (DEIA&B), healthcare quality improvement, patient experience, and ethical innovation.
Janel Paulk, DBA, MBA
Janel Paulk, DBA, MBA is an experienced healthcare IT executive with over 20 years of leading digital transformation in hospitals, healthcare systems, academic physician practices and specialty health clinics as well as leading healthcare interoperability and integrated information systems implementations. She is a Certified Project Management Professional (PMP) through the Project Management Institute (PMI), a Certified Scrum Master through Scrum Alliance, and a Certified Professional in Healthcare Information and Management Systems (HIMSS). Additionally, she holds numerous AI certifications, including Machine Learning for Product Managers from Duke University. She has expertise in Agile software development and release management and has led integration efforts utilizing APIs (Application Programming Interfaces), FHIR (Fast Healthcare Interoperability Resources) and HL7 (Health Level 7) integration platforms. She excels at portfolio and program management as well as aligning strategic organizational goals with digital IT initiatives. She is recognized in building positive stakeholder relationships by establishing trust, setting expectations, listening to concerns, and taking action to deliver results. She is an effective leader, team builder, and problem solver.
